Experience the magic of the Annapolis Film Festival (AFF), a transformative celebration of cinema and community, March 27-20, 2025. The Annapolis Film Festival will feature over 70 curated films, engaging panel discussions, and intimate Q&As with filmmakers, AFF ignites conversation, fosters empathy, and celebrates diversity every year. The 2025 schedule of films, special screenings, and guests will be announced soon. Meanwhile, festival passes are now available for purchase.
The Annapolis Film Festival 2025 proudly announces A New World as the theme for both the 2025 Festival and the Shorts Challenge. This year, we find ourselves navigating a changing world. There are too many reasons to name them all, but our world is shifting in ways that challenge how we live, connect, and grow. Storytelling is key to understanding and navigating these circumstances.
For over a decade, the Annapolis Film Festival has woven itself into the very fabric of our community, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of all who participate. It’s not just a showcase of cinema; it’s a powerful catalyst for change, a mirror that reflects our world and our shared humanity. Over 13 years, this festival has nurtured a sense of belonging, inspiring artists to create, audiences to connect, and storytellers to amplify their voices.

Tickets to Annapolis Film Festival events may be purchased at Ticket & Pass Central, located in Room #205 at Maryland Hall. Space permitting, day-of tickets may also be purchased at each venue. Arrive early for day-of purchase. Please note, all passes, other than Filmmakers Passes must be picked up at Ticket & Pass Central.
Most venues are within walking distance, and the Purple City buses will travel between all five screening locations. If you show your pass or ticket, it is free. The purple buses will be available from 9:00 am – 12:00 am on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
