Maryland Chicken Wing Festival
AA Co. Fairgrounds, Crownsville. Enjoy wings from some of the best establishments around. Admission includes entrance and parking to the event. This is a family friendly event, with lots of activities, music, and good food and drink! $20

Maryland Osprey and Nature Festival 
North Beach. Event for the entire family and people of all ages….see a live raptor up close, enjoy live music, meet Oscar the Osprey and get a selfie, and move through the nature activity stations. $10/person or $20/family

Havre de Grace. This family and pet-friendly event will showcase local breweries for a fun filled day of hops! $20

 Bel Air Kite Festival
Rockfield Ball Fields, Bel Air. Kite flying for kids of all ages along with great music and food for the whole family. Volunteers will be on hand to help kite flying novices. April 12. 10 am – 4pm. Admission is FREE and FREE kites while supplies last.

First Landing Wine and Arts Festival  
Coltons Point. Enjoy wine by the glass or purchase a bottle from St. Mary’s County wineries and craft beverage makers, all while browsing locally crafted items and more on museum grounds. It’s an event for the whole family, including food vendors and family-friendly activities. Free event admission.

 Marshy Point Spring Festival  
Middle River. The Spring Festival celebrates the change of season and the return of warm weather. Admission and parking are free, with family-friendly activities for all ages. Activities include live music, animal talks, crafts, canoe rides, wood carvers, and more! Individual costs apply for some activities.

 DC Beer Fest: Spring 
Nats Park, Washington, DC. Bringing together dozens of craft breweries that will feature spring seasonal beers, plus food trucks, dueling pianos, cover bands, DJs, and more throughout the park. $55

Eastern Shore Sea Glass and Coastal Arts Festival 
St. Michaels. The Eastern Shore Sea Glass and Coastal Arts Festival will feature over 90 local artisans as well as those from around the country featuring coastal and sea-glass related jewelry, home décor, art and photography, authors, live music, amazing food and drink options plus the campus and exhibits of the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. $22

Sakura Matsuri Japanese Street Festival 
Washington, DC. Features over 24 hours of Japanese cultural performances, authentic Japanese food and beverages, handmade Japanese crafts, and so much more. $20

Savor Bowie Spring Food, Wine and Music Festival 
Bowie. Two Days of Complimentary Wine Tastings from the area’s best wineries! Vendors, Great food, Exhibitors, Artisans, Two stages and many areas of music and entertainment. Free

Baltimore Old Time Music Festival  
Baltimore. Concerts, workshops, square dancing, jamming, food/drink vendors, kids programming and more on the gorgeous waterfront campus of the Baltimore Museum of Industry with stunning views of the Baltimore skyline. $20+

4/19  Royal Rabbit Spring Fairy Market  
Parkton. Come out for a flight of wine, shop at the booths of wonderful craft vendors, see the fairy dancers, hear the live music! What a day! We are all fae family! Your ticket *includes* a flight of wine if you are over 21! Free-$28.52

4/20 Thai New Year Songkran Festival 
Accokeek. This year’s Songkran festival, there are many booths: selling savory-sweet food, plants, and clothes.  We also have Thai Actor/Actress/Singer/Bands. Donation.

Fort Frederick 18th Century Market Fair, Big Pool.
Sutlers (period vendors) selling 18th century wares including pottery, tin and copper ware, clothing, and much more are joined by colorful entertainers as you time travel back to an authentic 18th century market fair. Hundreds of fair-goers of all ages dressed in colonial clothing inhabit the fair. $5

Springfest Ocean City. Four days full of tasty treats, lively music and awesome handmade crafts. Join us at the Inlet Lot – right off Ocean City’s iconic Boardwalk – for a fun-filled celebration like no other this spring season. Free

Maryland Festivals 4/26

Dirty Boots Country Fest, Hagerstown.
If the amazing music is not enough, we have Dirty Boot favorites back again- Jeep ride and show, the mechanical bull, Line Dancing lessons, Dance floor, Goat Cuddling, Chicken Poop bingo, Kids Giddyup area, lots of beer and specialty cocktails! We are even adding a cow milking competition! $25

Foodie Fest, Catonsville.
Plenty of delicious food from the local restaurants and food trucks at the event and beverages including adult beverages will be provided so grab a lawn chair and blanket and come listen to live music and enjoy the food. $10

Southern Maryland Celtic Festival , St. Leonard.
Internationally known Celtic Bands performing on multiple stages. Clan Row, where more than 50 clans and societies have information to share with you about your Celtic heritage. Celtic Marketplace for a wide selection of traditional and non-traditional Celtic foods and gifts. May 2 & 3 Flower Mart, Baltimore. Flower and plant vendors, hand-made arts and crafts relating to flowers or other green themes, and some of Baltimore’s delicious foods! 

May 2 – 4, M3 Rock Festival, Columbia. A jam-packed weekend of internationally-renowned hard rock and heavy metal music.

May 3, Berlin Jazz, Blues, Wine & Brews!, Berlin. Enjoy local Beer, Wine, Mead and Spirits or dive right in to our Wine Tasting  sip while perusing local art on the street or in any of our amazing shops.

May 3, Adams Morgan Spring PorchFest, Washington, D.C. Adams Morgan PorchFest is a grassroots celebration of local musical talent. We turn the front porches and patios of historic homes and local businesses into “stages for a day,” showcasing an eclectic range of music from Latin to jazz, folk to rock, soul to classical, and everything in between.

May 3, Hare Krishna Kirtan, Potomac. Learn about Hare Krishna. Food, exhibits, vendors. 

May 3 & 4, Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival, West Friendship. All things sheep and wool. Fiber arts demonstrations, Make it with Wool Fashion Show, parade of sheep, sheep dog and sheep shearing demonstrations, family activities and food and drink. 

May 3 & 4, May Day Faerie Festival, Rocky Point Park, Essex. The festival will feature live music, dancing, bubbles, magicians, fairies, goblins, renowned craft vendors, storytellers, and more winged things than you can count! There will be activities for humans and fae of all ages!

May 3 & 4, Rockville Arts Festival, Rockville. An outdoor art festival and makers market featuring original art by 130 fine artists and artisans, art demonstrations, a chalk art competition, and food trucks.

May 3 & 4, Towsontown Spring Festival, Towson. Carnival rides, Beer Garden, Food trucks and entertainment. 

May 4, West Annapolis Spring Festival, Annapolis. Enjoy live music, food trucks, beverages of all kinds, and a variety of nature-inspired vendors. Good for plant lovers, gardeners, and flower enthusiasts. Artists and creatives who enjoy interactive workshops and live demonstrations.

May 8 – 11, Greek Food, Wine and Culture Festival, Annunciation Cathedral, Baltimore. Savor the finest homemade Greek food and pastries and enjoy family-friendly activities. Bring your dancing shoes as we celebrate the music of Greece.

May 10, Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Festival, Merriweather Park, Columbia. Celebrating the vibrant cultures, traditions, and contributions of the Asian American and Pacific Islander community in Howard County and beyond.

May 10, Maryland Craft Beer Festival, Frederick. Festival entry includes beer samples from DOZENS OF MARYLAND BREWERIES (including a few breweries not yet open to the public!) pouring more than 200 unique, beers – all brewed in Maryland. There will also be live music and a tasty selection of local food and craft vendors. 

May 10, GBIA Spring Festival, Glen Burnie. Full day of fun, community spirit, vendors, tented beer and wine garden. 

May 10,  Lock House Beer & Wine Festival, Havre de Grace. A fun-filled day spent along the beautiful Susquehanna River in the shadow of the Lock House Museum. Enjoy the music, drink beers and wines of Maryland, eat great food, and shop some unique art and craft vendors. 

May 10, Furnace Fairies & Gnome Celebration, Snow Hill. A whimsical day filled with fairy magic, gnome mischief, themed vendors, and entertainment for all ages.

May 10, Flower & Jazz Festival, Westminster. The Flower and Jazz Festival is an annual event held in Downtown Westminster the Saturday before Mother’s Day. Main Street will be filled with vendors, delectable food and flowers & herbs. 

May 10 & 11, Bethesda Fine Arts Festival, Bethesda. Featuring fine art created by 120 of the nation’s best artists, live entertainment and Bethesda restaurants.

May 10 & 11, Green Man Festival, Greenbelt. Two days of music, vendors, crafts, environmental awareness, food, and fun in beautiful downtown!

May 17 & 18, Quad State Pickle Festival, Boonsboro. Indulge yourself in everything pickles, from pickle pizza and pickle pierogies to pickle jewelry and pickle contests, and for adults, perhaps pickle margaritas or pickle beer. Incredible live entertainment.

May 17 & 18, Wine in the Woods, Columbia. Beer & Wine, entertainment, artisans and crafters. 

May 17 & 18, Southern Maryland Heritage Festival, Hollywood. Demonstrations and exhibits from Southern Maryland businesses and organizations, such as blacksmithing, jousting, quilting, antique tractor pulls, and more! Food and artisan vendors, live music, beer & wine, wagon rides. 

May 17 & 18, Boardwalk Rock, Ocean City. Rock music takes over Ocean City Inlet with high-energy performances and unforgettable vibes! Over 25 bands will light up 3 stages: 2 on the beach and 1 along the boardwalk.

May 17 & 18, Maryland Iron Festival, Thurmont. Maker’s Market and live music. 

May 17 & 18, Bourbon & Bluegrass, Washington, D.C. Bourbon & Bluegrass, the Cottage’s biggest, most rollicking fundraiser of the year, is back and better than ever for its tenth anniversary weekend festival! With your support, it has become the little festival that could, beating out much bigger festivals for the coveted title of Best Music Festival in DC!

May 22 – 25, DelFest, Cumberland. May 23-25, Chesertown Tea Party, Chestertown. The annual reenactment of that event is the centerpiece of the Chestertown Tea Party Festival. The re-enactment is scheduled for Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Tea Toss Reenactment, Colonial Parade, Street Party, Raft Race, Street Performances, Colonial Crafts, Strolling Musicians, Local Fare, 5k & 10-mile run, and more.

May 24, Baltimore Herb Festival, Leakin Park. Plant sales, artisans, music, children’s activities. 

May 24, Mount Rainier Day Festival, Mount Rainier. Enjoy a bustling Festival Market with more than 50 local vendors, unique finds, live entertainment, arts and crafts, and fun activities for all ages.

May 24 & 25, Artscape, Baltimore. A dynamic collision of art, music, culture, and community impact, transforming Baltimore into a living, breathing canvas of creativity. 

May 24 & 25, Hometown Holidays, Rockville. Two stages of entertainment for all ages and music from a variety of genres, including rock, pop, country, bluegrass, blues and more. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.. Artisan shopping area will feature local artisans. Kids activities will include yard games, crafts and kid-friendly performances.

May 24 – 26, DoddleHatch Festival, Columbia. Music, mermaids, magic and more. Enjoy a variety of specialty vendors, themed areas, arts and crafts, amazing entertainers, and kid friendly activities.

May 25, SOWEBO Art & Music Festival, Baltimore. This event brings together local musicians, visual artists, and entertainers, great food, neighbors, and fun for all ages.

May 25, Planet Maryland, Chevy Chase. This is a fun-filled festival celebrating sustainability, health, and incredible food! Enjoy 50+ food vendors, engaging talks from top experts, interactive exhibits, and a Play Zone for children.

May 25, Ridgely Strawberry Festival, Ridgely. Strawberries, food, entertainment, contests. 

Maryland Festivals May 29 – June 1

May 29 – 31, Fireman’s Festival, Union Bridge. Bring the family out for three nights filled with fun and food while supporting your local volunteer fire company! Entertainment, Beer Garden, Games, Food. 

May 30 – June 1, St. Anthony Italian Festival at St. Leo’s Church, Baltimore. 2-day street festival with delicious Italian food and desserts, vino and Italian/domestic beer, game wheels, local vendors, and used books. There’s an indoor sit-down pasta dinner, indoor Bingo, roving costumers, live stage music, contests, and an exciting bocce tournament.

May 30 – June 1, Greek Festival, Darlington. Greek food, music, vendors, and dancing. 

May 31 & June 1, Project Glow, RFK Festival Grounds, Washington, D.C. Dance music, art, and culture in the heart of the nation’s capital.

May 31, Annapolis Pride, Annapolis. A parade followed by entertainment, food, and resources. 

May 31, Frederick World Heritage Festival, Frederick. A celebration of cultures with entertainment, food and vendors. 

May 31, Toast & Jam Festival, Street. Come raise a glass and get down with the finest musicians in the region.

May 31, Takoma Trukgarten, Tacoma Park. This beer festival features local breweries pouring craft beers and cider. Plus local food and music! Tasting packages with commemorative glasses available. Non-drinkers and under 21 enter free.

May 31, Taco De Mayo, Taco and Music Festival, Cumberland. Five of the best bands in the area along with taco vendors, beer, and a margarita bar.

May 31 & June 1, Annapolis Greek Festival, Annapolis. There will be Greek food, drinks, desserts, live music, shopping, and vendors.
