Six Daze at Celebrate Mount Airy. 8 Park Avenue, Mt. Airy. 5-9pm. A great small town event with live music, local vendors, street performers, and a huge car show.
Southern Maryland Sunflower Festival. 10am – 4pm. 6960 Serenity Farm Road, Benedict. Enjoy included amenities like hay rides, tours, face-painting, petting pen, local art show, and photo opportunities galore! Parking is FREE! Food vendors and market goods will be available for purchase. $10/adult in advance. $15 onsite
Living History at the Fire Museum of Maryland. 1301-R York Road, Lutherville. 11am-4pm. Adults $15, Children $7. Learn about Benjamin Franklin and historic bicycles with interactive and fun displays and activities.
Sunday, September 1 Maryland Events
First Sunday Arts Festival, 11am – 5pm. Calvert Street and West Street, Annapolis. This is the perfect place to purchase fine art and crafts directly from the artisans. It is common to find paintings, photography, wheel-thrown pottery, fused and blown glass, jewelry, woodturning, sculpture, fiber-arts, candles, home decor, and restaurants serving outdoor meals.
Mini Bluegrass Festival. 11am – 8pm. The Woodstock Inn, 1415 Woodstock Rd, Woodstock, MD 21163. $10/per cover charge. Three different bands, dine outdoors on our deck or patio surrounded by friends, delicious food and drinks to create memories that will last a lifetime.
September 1 & 2 Maryland Event
Clarksville Sunflower Festival – Weekend Market Days. 4979 Sheppard Lane, Ellicott City. Walk through an amazing patch of sunflowers. Eat, drink and be merry from the food trucks. Listen to live music from local artists in the pavilion. Shop from unique vendors. Be on the lookout for surprises!
September 2 Event
Grasonville Community Center Labor Day Parade, 5601 Main Street, Grasonville MD. Parade starts at 12pm. Line up starts at 10am. Following the parade there will be vendors, food, moon bounce, music, 50/50 raffle & lots of fun!
