Farm to Table Freshness at Bread & Butter Kitchen!

Nestled among docked sailboats and a bustling boatyard, Bread & Butter Kitchen offers an extraordinary farm to table dining experience you won’t want to miss. When a friend visited and was craving a vegetarian lunch, I knew just the place to send her. Owner Monica Alvarado sources seasonal and fresh ingredients from local farmers to create mouthwatering breakfast and lunch dishes. Even the treats on the shelves come from local businesses, adding a special touch to every visit.

Farm to Table Menu

Step into the lively entrance of Bread & Butter Kitchen and place your order at the counter. You’ll find all your favorite menu staples, plus specials that showcase the freshest seasonal offerings. The scones are legendary, and for good reason! Their flavors change daily based on what’s available from local farmers. The biscuits are light, fluffy, and buttery, and the Sriracha Honey adds a delightful zing to the classic chicken and biscuit sandwich. With meals made to order, vegan and gluten-free options are always available.

Breakfast, including gluten-free, cinnamon, and chocolate chip pancakes, is served all day. Grain bowls and a selection of 10 Meals for $10 or less offer something for everyone. There is a kids’ menu too.

The atmosphere at Bread & Butter Kitchen is one of its best features. After placing your order, head outside to grab a waterside table under an umbrella. You’ll be surrounded by sailboat masts and close to the water taxi landing. On weekends, enjoy live music on the dock. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to join their owners, and our dog has even received treats from friendly neighboring diners!

Owner Monica Alvarado is a beloved community member, known for her “Feed it Forward” initiative, which ensures that everyone who needs a meal can find one.
