Corah’s Corner: Your Destination for Fresh Maryland Food
Corah’s Corner in St. Michaels welcomes visitors who love fresh Maryland food, with a large deck and umbrellas for shade. You can also step inside when the heat becomes too much for you, but the deck offers the best people-watching while you enjoy a delicious meal. There is live music on the weekends and live entertainment during the week. The inside of Corah’s Corner is as welcoming as the outside deck, and the bar is a good place to mingle and watch a game on TV.
“Corah’s Corner is inspired by a love for the bay and local seafood, and named after Chef Elijah’s daughter,” as reported by Talbot County Economic Development and Tourism.
The selection of daily specials, especially those using local and in-season ingredients, makes it hard for seafood lovers to decide what to order. Everything from a fried green tomato BLT, soft crab sandwich, crab and corn chowder, and Talbot Street corn, described as “battered, golden-fried local corn with sweet chili cilantro dipping sauce,” is perfect for Maryland summers. Plus, there is always a flatbread of the day, along with vegetarian and gluten-free options. Kids’ options are also available.
The full-service bar also offers daily specials, including the Watermelon Margarita = the taste of summer; the Sweet Italian Cherry Martini = a Sunday favorite; Classic Margaritas; Rum Swizzles; and a variety of crushes. Happy hour runs from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
We opted for the classic crab cake, and it did not disappoint. Loaded with lump crab and not much filling, the seasoning was perfect. The serving tray was filled with hand-cut crispy French Fries.

If you love fresh, local Maryland food, Corah’s Corner is the place.
